Aerosol Mission Trading Card

The Stratospheric Aerosol and Gas Experiments (SAGE I, II, III) are part of an effort by NASA to study stratospheric aerosols, ozone and certain other chemicals in the atmosphere.

Aerosols, ozone, and other gases absorb and reflect sunlight thereby reducing the measured intensity of incoming solar radiation.
