This triplet of color images from the Multi-angle Imaging SpectroRadiometer (MISR) AF camera (26-degree forward view) includes data acquired on June 3, August 22, and September 7, 2000 (Terra orbits 2446, 3611, and 3844 respectively). The area is in the Transvaal region of South Africa, southwest of Kruger National Park. The yellowing of the vegetation with time is apparent, as well as the increased prevalence of burn scars. Some scattered smoke plumes are visible as well.
