MISR Browse Images for ACE-Asia

These MISR Browse images provide a quick visual overview of the region observed during the Asia Pacific Regional Aerosol Characterization Experiment (ACE-Asia) field campaign. ACE-Asia was the fourth in a series of experiments designed to understand how atmospheric aerosol particles affect the Earth's climate system, and it was held Spring 2001 off the coast of China, Japan and Korea. More information about ACE-Asia can be found at http://saga.pmel.noaa.gov/aceasia/ and www.ogp.noaa.gov/ace-asia/.

The MISR Browse images from the nadir camera include paths 111, 112, 113 and 116 for April 4 to May 2, 2001. The images were subsetted to cover blocks 61 through 68, intensity-stretched to highlight surface features, and arranged chronologically into a composite.
