These MISR Browse images provide a quick visual overview of a time
series of images over the region observed during the NASA Cold Land Processes
Experiment (CLPX). CLPX involved ground, airborne, and satellite measurements
of snow and frozen ground over parts of Colorado and Wyoming during the periods
of February 15 - May 15 in 2002 and 2003. More detailed information about CLPX
can be found at http://nsidc.org/data/clpx/intro.html.
The MISR Browse images from the nadir camera include paths 31 through 38 for
both the 2002 and the 2003 CLPX periods. The images were subsetted to cover
blocks 57 through 60, intensity-stretched to highlight surface features, and
arranged chronologically into a composite for each year. In addition, two
sets of full resolution (true-color) images from the nadir camera are provided
to illustrate the region covered by the Browse images. The first image set is
for paths 38 through 32 in May 2-8, 2002, and the second set is for paths 37
through 31 for March 11-17, 2003.
