MISR Browse Atlas for the United States July 2003 - February 2004
This MISR Browse Atlas of the United States provides a quick visual overview
of a time series of MISR browse images. The Atlas covers the contiguous
forty-eight states and comprises consecutive sweeps of eighteen orbital passes
(either from the odd paths 47 through 13 or the even paths 46 through 12). Each
sweep covers a thirty-five day period and progresses from west to east with
consecutive passes being two days apart.
MISR browse images from the nadir camera were subsetted to cover block 50
through approximately the southern border of the United States. The subsetted
images were intensity-stretched to highlight surface features and then
assembled into the eighteen image sweeps.
