Data Quality Summary

TOA Fluxes - Accuracy and Validation

Top-of-atmosphere (TOA) shortwave (SW), longwave (LW) and window (WN) channel fluxes on the Aqua Beta2 SSF are inferred using Angular Distribution Models (ADMs) developed from CERES/Terra Edition1A SSFs. These ADMs were also used to determine TOA fluxes for the Terra Edition2A SSF data set. Users are, therefore, asked to see the Terra Edition2A SSF section on CERES TOA Fluxes - Accuracy and Validation for a detailed accuracy and validation analysis.

This data set is NOT regarded as publishable and will not be maintained in the archives.

We invite users to report any problems observed with this product.
