MISR Data Products Specifications

The Data Products Specification (DPS) contains detailed file format descriptions of all of the various MISR data products. The DPS contains information about units, valid ranges, flag value definitions and usage of metadata. Improvements to MISR algorithmic software occasionally result in changes to file formats. While these changes most often take the form of additions, there have been cases in which field names needed to be changed. The newer DPS revisions contain tables in the front of the document stating which product version numbers are covered. Please make sure to use the Revision which corresponds to the data product version.
