Project: CALIPSO

The CALIPSO mission team, in collaboration with the Atmospheric Science Data Center (ASDC) at NASA Langley Research Center and AERIS/ICARE Data Center and Services Center, announces the release of a new CALIOP Level 3 Cloud Occurrence Product:

CAL_LID_L3_Cloud_Occurrence-Standard-V1-00

The CALIOP Level 3 Cloud Occurrence monthly product reports global distributions of cloud occurrence by counts on a uniform spatial grid. All parameters are derived from the latest version 4 CALIOP Level 2 5‑km merged layer and Level 2 5-km cloud profile products.

The monthly product is available beginning with data from June 13, 2006 through December 31, 2016.
