Project: CALIPSO

The CALIPSO mission team, in collaboration with the Atmospheric Science Data Center (ASDC) at NASA Langley Research Center, announces the release of a new CALIOP Level 1.5 Product:

CAL_LID_L15-Standard-V1-00 https://doi.org/10.5067/CALIOP/CALIPSO/LID_L15-STANDARD-V1-00

The CALIOP Level 1.5 data is a continuous segment of calibrated, geo-located, cloud-cleared, and spatially averaged profiles of lidar attenuated backscatter. These profiles are derived via a synthesis of the CALIOP V4.10 Level 1B profile and V4.20 Level 2 Vertical Feature Mask data products. The product is available beginning with data from June 13, 2006 through current.
