Project: MOPITT

• MOPITT will be performing its quasi-annual Hot Calibration from March 11 through March 22, 2019. It is out of science mode during this period and not producing data.
• In early April, MOPITT will upgrade the processor on lance2 (the redundant backup system) to begin creating Version 8 data. After a period of evaluation they will upgrade the primary system to V8. Users are not expected to notice any change in NRT data quality since the scientific motivation for the upgrade from V7 to V8 corrects subtle long timescale instrument drift.
