You are invited to the NASA Earthdata webinar, “Getting to Know the NASA Prediction Of Worldwide Energy Resources (POWER) Project”. The webinar will be held on Wednesday, March 23, 2022, at 2:00 PM EDT (UTC/GMT-4).

Brief Description: The POWER Project, a component of NASA’s Applied Sciences Program, helps communities become resilient amid observed climate variability through the efficient access to solar and meteorological data via geospatial web services and visualization tools and improves the accessibility and usability of NASA Earth Observation (EO) data supporting community research in three focus areas: 1) renewable energy development, 2) building energy efficiency and sustainability, and 3) agroclimatology applications.

This presentation will showcase POWER’s data and web services, highlighting partnerships that facilitate the use of Earth observation data followed by case studies of how POWER data are used for applications in the communities it supports.
