Entry ID: IXBMI2AE_2
Aerosols
Description

IXBMI2AE_2 is the Multi-angle Imaging SpectroRadiometer (MISR) Level 2 Aerosol Product subset for the INTEX-B region Version 2 product. It contains the Geometric Parameters which measure the sun and view angles at the reference ellipsoid for the INTEXB_2006 theme. The data used in this study were produced by the MISR Science Team; processed/stored at the Langley DAAC; Product is Multi-angle Imaging SpectroRadiometer (MISR) Level 1B2 Geometric Parameters for the INTEX-B region. Needed by all MISR Level 2 science algorithms for several types of retrievals are the MISR Level 1B2 Geometric Parameters which supply the sun and view angles on the reference WGS84 ellipsoid relative to a normal to that surface, as well as azimuth angles relative to Local North. The sun zenith and azimuth angles are determined from Earth and Sun ephemerides at the time of viewing. The view zenith and azimuth angles are based upon the reported spacecraft attitude and position.
